Ateba Gautier, known as ‘The Silent Assassin’, is making plenty of noise inside the Octagon, making himself heard with another impressive victory. Following a blistering UFC debut where he stopped Jose Medina in the first round, Guatier repeated history on Saturday night. The Cameroonian extended his win streak to seven, needing just over a minute to dismantle Victor Valentin.

After a clinical onslaught of strikes from Guatier out of the gate, it left the referee Herb Dean no other choice but to step in after the Valentin had no answers to the questions.

At just 23 years old, he now holds a record of eight wins and one defeat, with 88% of his wins coming via KO/TKO.  Strengthening his collection of finishes, he holds undeniable power. Gautier is wasting no time making his mark on the middleweight division: “The only way to survive me is to run”, Gautier shouted in his post-fight interview.

Coming through the Dana White Contender series, his UFC journey is just beginning but gaining momentum at tremendous speed. Back-to-back first round finishes, he Is becoming a big problem. Does this performance call for a top 15 opponent next?
