Earlier this week, Dana White delivered fight news that left all fight fans more than satisfied, officially announcing the PPV card for UFC 320, scheduled for October 4th at the T-Mobile Arena. Among this news, UFC 321 will see the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship on the line for the first time in over two years.

Main Event: Magomed Ankalaev VS Alex Pereira 2

The headliner of the night will see Magomed Ankalaev defend his Light Heavyweight Championship for the first time against former double champion Alex “Poatan” Pereira in a highly anticipated bout. They met in the Octogen for the first time back at UFC 313, where the Russian silenced the crowd in a quite dominate performance, becoming the new owner of the belt via unanimous decision.

Co-Main Event: Merab Dvalishvili VS Cory Sandhagen

The Co-Main event, Merab Dvalishvili returns for his third Bantamweight title defence since capturing the belt in September 2024. Dvalishvili’s current reign of the championship has silenced all negative opinions.

After beating Sean O’Malley to win the title, Merab made easy work of the rematch submitting the former champion in the third round. His next defence saw him beat undefeated and highly regarded Umar Nurmagomedov in another quite comftable performance.

Now he faces Cory ‘Sandman’ Sandhagen, who is currently ranked 5th in the Bantamweight rankings. Off the back of his 2nd round win against Deiveson Figueiredo, he is hoping to win his first ever UFC title.

Undercard: Jiri Prochazka VS Khalil Rountree

In what is a potential title eliminator, former Light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka is back on the hunt for redemption against Khalil Rountree.

Earlier this year at UFC 311, Jiri beat Jamal Hill via TKO after an onslaught of heavy strikes in the third round. This win was his first fight since his title challenge against Pereira, that saw him get knocked out by a stunning head kick at the start of the second round. Jiri won the UFC title by submitting Glover Teixeira at UFC 275, but had to vacate due to injury.

Rountree, meanwhile,  is also desperate for another title bout. Like his opponent, ‘The War Horse’ is coming off the back of a victory over Hill after previously getting knocked out in a title challenge against Pereira.

With both fighters carrying momentum and a history of incredible finishes and chins of steel, this fight promises a war.

Tom Aspinall VS Ciryl Gane

The main event of UFC 321 will take place in Abu Dhabi on October 25th. Tom Aspinall will return to the octagon as Heavy weight champion of the world due to Jon Jones abruptly retirering in June.

The Englishman will fight Frenchman Ciryl Gane. Aspinall spent 19 months as Interim champion after beating Sergei Pavlovich for the interim belt and retaining it against Curtis Blades back in July 2024. After Gane beat Alexander Volkov in a controversial split decision victory, speculation surrounds the choice of ‘Bon Gamin’ to get this title shot.
