The Derby d’Italia brought fireworks to Turin in an end-to-end encounter.
Loyd Kelly struck Juventus into the lead in just the 11th minute. A cushioned pass from Bremer was answered with a placed finish across the goal with his left foot into the bottom right corner, earning his first goal in the Juventus stripes.
Hakan Calhanoglu equalised in the 29th minute. After a nice passing move down the left side involving Bastoni and Mkhitaryan, Carlos Augusto played it back to the Turkish international who struck the ball first time and rifled it low and hard across goal which bulged the net.
Juventus stole the lead heading into half time due to Kenan Yildiz magic. Receiving the ball on the half term from Bremer around 35 yards, takes a touch and strikes it beautifully, curling away into the bottom left corner, leave Yann Sommer no chance.
Calhanoglu showcased his brilliance once again on the hour mark. After poor clearances from a cross, the number 20 recieved a headed pass from Piotr Zielinski on the right side edge of the box, controlled it on his chest, opened up a volleyed it excellently across goal into the bottom left corner, making it 2-2.
Inter Milan thought they might of scored the winner in the 76th minute. An out swinging corner form Federico Dimarco corner reached the head of Marcus Thuram who thumped the ball into the back of the net.
Juventus responded quickly, in the 83rd minute the derby was level at 3-3. Out of everyone on the pitch, Khephren Thuram matches his brother and headed home from an out swinging Yildiz freekick.
In dramatic fashion and nothing less than this already incredible match deserved, Juventus and Vasilije Adzic scored the winner in added time. Even further out than Calhanoglu’s goal, he received the ball and struck it into the top left corner, leaving Sommer scrambling across his goal line.
Juventus now have three wins from three, siting second in the table just behind Napoli on goal difference. However, Inter Milan haven’t got flowing properly and found their rhythm they have shown in past years and currently hold three points.
